This notice explains how BOOLEAN GROUP LTD handles personal information. We are the data controller.
What we collect
When you contact us through this website, we collect the information you provide. For employers this is typically your name, job title, company, contact details and the details of the role. For candidates it is typically your name, contact details, location, current and desired role, skills, work preferences, and any CV or profile link you choose to share.
How we use it
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and to run our engagement with you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in doing so. We do not sell it or share it for marketing. Candidate details are introduced to a client only with the candidate’s explicit, per-role consent.
Who processes it for us
Website form submissions are delivered to us by our form provider, Formspree, which processes them on our behalf. The site’s fonts and files are served from our own domain, and we do not use analytics or advertising services.
Candidates we approach
As a recruitment business, we also process professional information about people we have identified as potential candidates, typically name, role, employer and professional background, gathered from public professional profiles and business contact databases. We rely on our legitimate interest in matching suitable people to relevant roles. If we hold information about you and would rather we did not, tell us and we will delete it. The rights set out below apply to this information too.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose you contacted us about, and for a reasonable period afterwards, typically up to 24 months from our last meaningful contact. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these rights, write to team@booleangroup.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
